- The regional influence was so prolific D.E. Walker named his company after the town. We talked to Bill Cutting at the Visalia Stock Saddle Company now located in Fresno, California 136 years after its inception. He says all the records of saddle numbers were lost in a fire before 1950 so we know for sure this saddle was built before then.
- VISALIA STOCK SADDLE COMPANY D E WALKER SADDLE SERIAL #AB37392-A. Condition is Used. One owner saddle custom built in Sacramento, CA Visalia Stock Saddle Co. 1961/1962 for cowboy ranch use. This saddle had heavy use in years past but I took good care of it always. Hasn't been used for the past 30 years with periodic oiling.

Includes handmade D. E. Walker trees and various types of rigging. Also stirrups, tapaderos, cinches, saddle bags, scabbards and gun rigs. Popular men's shoes at the time Justin boots, chaps, gloves, Levi's, ladies riding trousers and skirts, men's Western apparel, Stetson hats.
There are many pages of the famed Visalia Silver items, including belt buckles, scarf bolo's, conchos, saddle trimmings, hand stamped belts, headstall brow plates. There is a great section on Silver headstalls, some with face pieces, split ear and brow band headstalls, Martingales, rawhide and leather reins.
Bits--the Visalia Humane was their most popular style and then 2 pages of spade or half breed bits that came inlaid or overlaid silver. Curb bits were Star Steel bits. Spurs-silver overlaid; extra fine silver inlaid.
Rowels, spur straps, rawhide quirts, hackamore, headstalls. There are 2 pages on the Care of Your Horse with photo and ills, by Lee Rice. Rawhide reatas, lariats, horsehair mecates and hat bands, bucking rolls and horse care supplies.
